Remebering gandhi

 

The Principles that Gandhiji stood for, fought & Died for, may or may not be relevant today, but the fact remains that he turned India's Independence movement into a Mass movement.
The martyrdom of Mangal Pandey, Bhagat Singh , Chandra Shekhar Azad & others was great indeed but somehow, could not stir the masses as much as Gandhi's Satyagraha Movement, Dandi March & Quit India Movement did.

This made the British Rulers sit up, take notice & eventually quit India.
Thus, Mahatma Gandhi had a great contribution in achieving India's Independence.
